Doodhsakhar Mahavidyalaya, Bidri is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. It is in remote, rural and hilly area of Kolhapur district. The college is shaping the personalities in rural area by catering quality education. Our Hon. President and the board of directors of the institution always support and guide us for achieving always new horizons. The college is giving quality & value based education to the rural student through its curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes, the college and staff has been honestly trying to embrace advanced education, information and communication technology, art, culture and sports and trying to harness the human potential in the process of nation building. Since its inception, the college has been trying to translate its vision and mission into action. Its dedicated, far seeing and transparent management, its research oriented qualified faculty, student centered teaching-learning process and thrust on ICT as well as its outreach programmes have helped to satisfy, the vision and mission.

The practice of serving the society as a faithful and friendly social partner is being observed through its variety of extension activities such as workshops, medicinal camps, awareness programmes with respect to health, hygiene, AIDS, law, entrepreneurship and others. The institute is taking care for developmental needs and has developed new building, sports ground, furniture, library and information center, and much more with regard to its curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Hence, we would like to say that our college is trying best for all around development of students.
