The curriculum is rigorous and demanding, emphasizing theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The faculty are enthusiastic about their research and are constantly pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and other fields. Experiential learning in the Department of Computer Science provides students numerous opportunities to apply what they have learned in real-world settings. Internships, co-op programs, and research opportunities allow students to gain practical experience while building professional networks.

About the Department : 

     Department of B.Sc Computer Science. is established at Doodhsakhar Mahavidyalay Bidri in 2007.The main objective of the course is to develop different software development skills in the students with current trends in IT industry as well as business. Three temporary faculties are working in the department. The department organizes various curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities for quality education i.e. unit tests, guest lectures, seminars, workshops on career avenues like opportunity in software industry and communication, career guidance, group discussion, spoken English, wall papers, library visit, Industrial study tour. The college library has sufficient number of text and reference books for BSc. Computer faculty. Some of the alumni of the department are working in IT industry.

This course will cover the practical aspects C#.NET framework. The goal of this course is to introduce the students to the basics of OOPs and windows application program.

1. Upon completion of this course, students should have a good working knowledge of Linux.
2. Allowing them to easily use any Linux distribution.
3. This course shall help student to learn advanced subjects in computer science practically

This course will cover the practical aspects of multi-tier web based application development using the .NET framework. The goal of this course is to introduce the students to the basics of distributed Web application development.

1. This course covers design principles of Linux Operating System Memory management.
2. Structure of File system and virtual file system is also elaborated.
3. This course contains details of shell programming and introduces System administration

Paper - XVI

1. To learn how to write functions and pass arguments in Python
2. To learn how to build and package Python modules for reusability
3. To learn how to use exception handling in Python applications for error handling
